Clap your hands everybody, if you got what it takes, it’s the IGN AU Pubcast yo, and we want you to know that this – is our distinctly Aussie take on the traditional podcast, blending our love of gaming with beer and toilet humour – and a liberal dose of intelligent debate. Sorry, that didn’t rhyme. I gotta look into my skillz. I gots billz to pay after all…

NYCC: 10,000 Years in the Kingdoms of Amalur
38 Studios has its hands full with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, its upcoming hack-and-slash RPG that’s set to be released in February of 2012. I’ve played Reckoning and I think it has a great deal of potential from a gameplay point-of-view, but when you hear about how ridiculously ambitious its ap…

X-Men: Destiny Review
There was a time when developer Silicon Knights was at the top of its form, creating some of the best games on the GameCube, namely the unnerving mind-funk that was Eternal Darkness and an excellent update of a PlayStation classic, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. Final Fantasy XIII-2, Special Pearl Black PS3 Being Released
Is Sony going to release a new console for every game that comes out? It’s looks like they are, with the recent announcement that a Playstaton 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lighting Editions Version 2 (wow, that’s a mouthful) bundle pack will be available on December 15, 2011. The bundle will include the Playstation 3 console with 320 GB hard disk drive and the FInal Fantasy XIII-2 game.
The PS3 system comes in a special pearl black color with “Lightning”, one of the game’s heroine, printed on the surface of the system. THe design in red color, the conceptual color of the game, contrast sfavorably with the pearl black body, depicting the dark and seriousness of the game’s world concept.
Seriously, everybody in Japan must own five Playstation 3 consoles at this point. I get it, Final Fantasy is huge, and may warrant it’s own console, but it’s like Sony releases a new “special” console every week. This comes right after the announcement of “Splash Blue” and “Scarlet Red” consoles. Doesn’t anybody see what Sony is doing here? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!
With that being said, the system does look pretty tight.
Naruto Ninja Storm Generation’s Bold New Territory
I’m a fan of Naruto, but something about the games based on the anime and manga has troubled me – there are no surprises. Much of what I experience in the video games is very much what I’ve read or watched before. I feel like I’m going through the motions of something very familiar to me. The same goes for many licensed games, really. Fortunately, with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, developer CyberConnect2 breaks that tradition…
